We lead a Strategy into Action Workshop for 60 top executives from pharmaceutical giant Novartis and biotechnology company Genentech in San Francisco, to put together the agreed North American brand strategy for a new drug that was already losing sales momentum. The application of the analytical rigor and rationality of the SCQuARE approach enabled the different stakeholders to reach rapid agreement on the causes and the consequences of the key internal and external challenges and therefore to determine the right strategic question and the optimum plan for execution.
The resultant actions drove year volume way ahead of corporate expectations.
